Chomsky was supporting the Khmer Rouge in print as early as 1970; in 1977 he was describing the KR as similar to the French Resistance and engaging in genocide denial; and was still engaging in genocide denial in 1980. This was a policy he followed later with his denial of Bosnian Serb massacres, just because they were supposedly anti-US. | FA8T ::: Favorites He never supported the Khmer Ruge he criticised the US media for ignoring the slaughter commited by Indonesia against East Timor in favour of a fanfare for the slaughter in Cambodia. Have a problem with that by all means, but he never supported the Khmer Rouge. I have mixed feelings about Chomsky and wish he would write about something other than US foreign policy.
