If you work for a company for 20, 30, 40 years, and it's part of your contract that you'll get a pension after you retire, is there *any* reason that a company *shouldn't* have to honor that agreement? None. Period. Within the past year or two, I've actually heard that companies are SUING retired workers to get the pension money back, because the companies don't want to pay!
