You are right. Too fast. It is a beautiful song. My favorite version is Jeanne Crane in "My Little Margie". I like Cliff Edwards as well. There is also a Vaudeville segue in early 20th Century music that utilizes familiar melodies in an extremely fast treatment. This was one of those types of performances, meant not to move people with the beauty of the tune, but to show dexterity to a prospective online student who doubted my technical ability. __________________________________________________ |
