Two things. Some of these bums have mental illness's that will prevent them from getting any job. The second thing is the fact that they have no place of residence or any of the proper ID to legally obtain a job.

I used to eat in a park downtown where a lot of homeless congregate & many of them are seriously psychotic. I would ask a couple to eat with me & buy 10-12 hotdogs, chips & sodas. You'd be surprised how many of those folks would say that no body had actually talked right to them in months.

I have mixed feelings about ur ideas on this one. I grew up on the bad side of town and ive met tons of homeless. And yeah everyone has a story, but the majority that i saw were in those situations because of their addictions to drugs. And yeah never give someone money, i remember there were some people who only pretended to be bums just to ask for money. Seriously that was their job just to get sympathy and ask for money. So i recommend not to give money.

If you want to give food go for it. But i say this, be incredibly careful because there are alot of people with pyschotic tendencies, so be very very careful. Youre a beautiful woman, and im sure none of them have ever seen a woman as beautiful as you so they might get ill ideas and act upon them.

If you really want to help them, volunteer with an organization that helps the homeless and spend a few hours volunteering. Im not saying dont help, just be careful. Im only saying this from my experience growing up in the downtown area of our great city be careful.
