the male beta will care for the fry (babies) after they mate remove the female once the babys start to grow divide them into jars untill you find a new home for them never leave the female with the male only place male and female to gether when both are ready the female will form stripes down her back when she is ready

You take the female out immediately after laying eggs. When the babies hatch, take the male out too. Once they hatch, they don't need any parental care. The adults will eat them if they get a chance. You CAN put two or more females in the same tank. Only the males fight - typical guys : )

i think it's like sea-turtles and she goes into a trance to lay eggs. Aligators do that, too.

the Male takes care of the eggs and fry and won't hurt them till they get near-full grown and every fish has a differnt personality so he might NEVER hurt his kids or might freak and not know how to take care of them. most people tkae the fe-male out. it just REALLLLY all depends on each fish. the young siblings are suposed to sometimes not fight because, you, they were eggs together! so but yeah. individuals.

but when you take the female out, do u keep her out? or do u just wait for the eggs to hatch and then put her in then the u take the male out? And when the eggs hatch, wont the male fight with the small bettas that are boys or some gurls? and when the little babies grow up, wont they fight?
answer my questions please. because i might get a female and i dont know if they'll fight. lol
