pleasure is mine :) here it's sometimes hard even to make a person to understand what you are trying to say. Well.. from the other side - it's just a youtube, not a historical class. :) Are you Belgian?

and the persons who were killed because they 'deserted' (read retreated, because their position was overran). that were stalin his victims, and that are as much as hitler killed (or even more, stalin had more time to kill them)

they aren't killed by stalin, because he just fought. of course you could consider the people who died in the penal battalions as needless victims, but you don'ty count them as a stalin victim. you could consider the people who were starved (on purpose) when the farmers were forced to join collectives and they resisted. and also everyone who died in the GULAG, and the deported minorities of the Kaukasus, and the political oppennents and the persons who were ennoying stalin,

Just another thought... Imagine a Russian in 1937 who was arrested by Stalin and sent to Siberia... Now 1941, Eastern Front. That poor soul was sent to "penal battalion" and on the first day was captured by Germans and later died in concentration camp or killed in battlefield. So... how do we count him? Is he Stalin's victim or Hitler's? Towards whose millions he will be counted? it's not easy..

Nice sound, very Laserdance and Koto inspired. However, I fail to see the connection between this spacesynth and Nazi Germany. It just feels so....not there.

well.. that's my point :) it depends how you look at it. i was using the word "FORMALLY"... the "survival" percentage after 1945 is known, but I don't know it - it's available even online probably. They were released in 1953. So I guess from those who were arrested after 1945 survival percentage could be somewhat high. But those before 1941 could die from many things - working in military factories, fighting in "penal battalions", starving (as food went to soldiers), etc. etc.
