Description: Ironic how a country is so worried about American beef containing a few fragments of bone out of fear of mad cow disease, while the food safety standards everywhere are so lax. As you can see from this video, meat is hung, at room temperature, no hairnets, open containers of food out on the street with every old person standing over it, just ripe for hair, sitting in the direct sunlight. Any insect having just finished a nice lunch with sometihng terribly nasty, has all the freedom in the world to come and contaminate this meat. No cleaning of surfaces to prevent cross-contamination, and the list goes on. It's no wonder that Koreans are often sick, and there are drug stores and hospitals every 20 meters on the street. Looks more like a third-world country, than a country with the 5th largest economy in the world. |
