I liked the way you showed getting under the clay at the bottom to lift it up. Good technique. I love the videos, thanks so much Simon!

You un-uncentered that top so quickly! What did you do? Show me, please! Rats - I forgot to buy me a mirror! Must find one for in front of my wheel. Thanks for the reminder.

The front-on camera perspective is the best yet -- perfect lighting. Keep them coming, Simon!

i'll attest to the weather in NY, have you ever had knee problems from all the treadling? I read somewhere that warren mckenzie did at one point and he uses the same sort of wheel. also when you're pushing in initially at the bottom from the outside, are you pushing back at all from the inside?

Simon - very nice shape, I will try one of those, I have been focusing on glaze and firing for a couple of weeks now, I am ready to get back to the wheel - Skip

Hi Simon, Thanks for the demonstration. Brutally cold today in upstate NY. Is there a limit to the size of an opening that can be collared easily. I know it depends on the skill of the potter but in general?

Hello Simon! Another brutally cold day here in Upstate NY. Thank you for the demonstration; it got me thinking, "is there a limit to width of an opening that can be collared successfully (sure it's based on thrower's skill but in general)?
