But it was too big for her that she couldn't even give it a try. She used her old boots as she originally planned. Well, that's the story about Japanese customized boots. Because she had high expectation on it, she felt very sorry about that. Now it's OK because an Italian boots company suggested her kind of sponsership. Her mother tried to readjust the blade and find the right position and balance every time but she couldn't. That leaded her ankle injury and that leaded the back injury and again and again... what a vicious circle. The problem was that the ankle part of her boot lost solidity so quickly that it couldn't support her jumping as well as hurt her ankle. I heard that she had to change at least 20 pairs of boots last season. It's not like she couldn't afford a single pair of boots... :) (Ugrr... HEr boots got broken long ago but her family could not afford to buy her a new one. so they tried to fix it, but they couldn't. So Yuna had to wear the broken boots to SG but still managed to win gold. __________________________________________________ | |
